Tokyo is a huge metropolitan area. The 23 special wards of Tokyo prefecture (which are collectively considered to be Tokyo City proper)have a combined population of over 8.5 million, making it slightly more populous than New York City. Tokyo prefecture has a population of over 12 million, and the Greater Tokyo conurbation including the urban areas in neighbouring prefectures like Kanagawa and Chiba, has a population of over 35 million people. It is the most populous metropolitan area in the world.
This mammoth size can make Tokyo confusing to navigate, especially since the street name and address system is very different from what you may be used to. Hope this Tokyo City Street Map can help you get around without trouble.
I hope you found these Tokyo City street map downloads useful. If you have any maps more useful than these, I'd love to get my hands on them so I can add them to the collection.

City And Parish Map Of Louisiana
Louisiana is a state in the southern USA, located east of Texas and west of Mississippi. Its capital city is Baton Rouge, while its largest city and metropolitan area is New Orleans.
Unlike other US states, Louisiana is not divided into counties, but rather "parishes", a term originally used for church administrative areas.
It's not easy to find a combined city and parish map of Louisiana. But I found a couple that were helpful to me. The first one is a road map that shows the cities and parishes of Louisiana in great detail.
The second one shows the parishes of Louisiana, but only the major cities. This is useful if you're more interested in the general picture.
I hope you found these city and parish map of Louisiana helpful. If you can find a better one, please let me know and I'll add it to this collection.

Detailed Street Map Of Manila
Metro Manila is a massive metrolpolis consisting of Manila City, the national capital; Quezon City, the nation's most populous city and former capital; and 14 other cities and municipalities. Metro Manila has a population of over 11 million. If the nearby suburbs in neighbouring provinces are included, then the greater Metro Manila conurbation has around 22 million people.
This extensive sprawl is well connected by its road network.
First for perspective, here's a simple printable map of Metro Manila with no roads shown.
Here's a detailed road map of Metro Manila, or the National Capital Region (NCR) as it's also known.
A detailed street map of Manila City itself.
Another detailed street man of Manila and its suburbs.
Manila City by itself is not so big in size. But it is densely populated.
I hope you found this detailed street map of Manila City and road map of Metro Manila useful. I'm very interested in Southeast Asia, so I plan to be uploading more maps from the Philippines and elsewhere very soon. Be sure to check back for updates!

Physical Features Map Of Japan
Here you can find a physical features map of Japan for download or printing. Japan is an archipelago consisting of more than 3,000 islands in the Pacific Ocean, in Northeast Asia. Its 4 biggest islands are Honshu, Hokkaido, Kyushu, and Shikoku.
Japan lies to the east of Korea and China, and to the southeast of Russia. The southermost Ryukyu islands of Okinawa prefecture are very near the Republic of China (Taiwan). And the island of Hokkaido borders Russia in the Sea of Okhotsk, where Russia currently occupies the southern Kuril islands that the USSR seized from Japan in WWII, subsequently expelling the Japanese residents.
Japan's total land area is 377,873 km² (145,883 square miles), though 70-80% of the country is mountainous uninhabitable land. That gives Japan's mainly coastal inhabitable areas an extremely high population density, with 130 million people squeezed into limited space. The coastal strip around Osaka Bay, extending from Hyogo Prefecture through Osaka and Wakayama Prefectures, is like one sprawling megacity with no uninhabited areas. I should know, because I live here! (^0^)/
Greater Tokyo is even more massive and densely populated.
I hope these found these physical features map of Japan images useful. Be sure to bookmark/subscribe, because I add new map topics all the time. See you next time!

Map of the Week-Children are Colorful and Beauty
Every couple of years the International Cartographic Association organizes the Barbara Petchenik International World Map Design Competition for children 15 and younger. Entries are archived online by the Carleton University Library in Ottawa, Canada. You can see all kinds of fun maps on this page. Many of them are cliched and similar looking but there's also lots of clever ideas in these young minds.
This entry is entitled "The world is colorful and beauty" and was done by Ferina Tjahyana from the Pelita Harapan Junior High School in Tangerang, Indonesia. She was 13 at the time this map was done (2003).

Ancient Map Of Japan
If you are looking for an ancient map of Japan, you can find a few here. I'm no expert on pre-Meiji Restoration Japan, so I won't B.S. about old Japanese history. But I do work in Nara prefecture, which used to be called "Yamato" province and was the center of rule in Japan for several hundred years in ancient times, from approximately 250 CE to 710 CE. So while I don't know the history in detail, I do walk in the footsteps of that history every day. (^-^)
Map of Japan in the 7th century during the Yamato Period, when Japan was ruled form Yamato province (in present-day Nara prefecture).
Map of Japan's administrative areas in the 10th century.
A thorough map of the provinces of ancient Japan in the Sengoku Jidai, "The Warring State Period".
Here's another great map of Japan in the sengoku jidai, but it is labelled entirely in Japanese characters.
I hope you found an ancient map of Japan that was suitable for your needs. Please feel free to have a look at the other map collections I have posted. I post new map collections almost every day, so check back often! See you soon.

Geographical Maps of Korea and Japan
Here you can find geographical maps of Korea and Japan, two neighbouring countries and peoples that have a lot in common. There has most definitely been a lot of historical migration between the two countries because of their close proximity. This is evident in the linguistic similarity between the Japanese and Korean languages, which share an almost identical grammatical system (though the vocabulary is almost entirely different).
Today's Japanese people are certainly partially descended from Korean migrants, though they are thoroughly blended into the nation's people and not identified. There is today, however, a significant minority of ethnic Koreans living in Japan without Japanese citizenship. These people are mainly descendants of those brought to Japan during the colonial times from 1910 to 1945.
Japan is an archipelago consisting of over 3000 islands, including the 4 main islands of Honshu, Kyushu, Shikoku, and Hokkaido. Its total land area is 377,873 km², roughly 1/10 these size of the United States. Japan's population is approximately 128 million.
Korea is no longer a state, but the Korea Peninsula is shared between two states, South Korea and North Korea. It's total land area is 220,186 km², and the combined population of both states is 72,014,000.
I hope these geographical maps of Korea and Japan were useful. I add new printable map themes, both physical maps and political maps, frequently so be sure to bookmark or subscribe to the feed and check back often!
